No, regina. I think you should book as early as possible.

But some owners of hotels and so on do not spend the winter on Symi, but return to the island when Spring arrives

I made my decision. I'm going to book at Grace. So now I can stop being anxious about the accomodation in Symi... and I can begin getting anxious about the accomodation for my first and last night in Rhodes and about ferries to Symi!!! ;-)

Good decision Regina. I don't think you have any problems with Grace judging by what others say about the place.

If you have the accommodation and flights booked you can relax for a while. The summer ferry timetables won't be fixed until May at the earliest and if you look through the 'Travel' section of the archive here you'll find several suggestions for places to stay on Rhodes. If you can't find the information you want there feel free to start a new thread asking for recommendations and I'm sure people will be happy to help.

Hi Regina,

I answered your email as soon as I got into the office on Monday morning so either you didn't receive it (maybe it is in your spam filter?) or you didn't like any of the places we offered you? I will next be in the office tomorrow morning and can resend you the email in case you did not get it.

At this time of the year most businesses are either still closed or only open a few hours a week. The hotels are being painted and cleaned for the season but there is no administrative staff around as they aren't actually open yet. Many places don't really open up proper working hours until the beginning of May.

Adriana, I haven't got any email! I don't know why! I have just checked my spam directory but there is no message. That's might be the reason why, although I sent many emails, I haven't got any reply. And it might be the reason why Nireus (before I signed in this forum) suddenly stopped emailing me. I was waiting for their bank account but I've never got it. I thought that they didn't have the room anymore.
Anyway, I'm in touch with Grace Hotel to confirm the reservation but I'd be glad to have a look at the accomodation you offer. Please, try to send me the email again. I hope to get it this time!

Hi Regina, I have resent you the email from two different email addresses.

It is possible that your email server blocks emails that contains links and that this is why replies have not been getting through to you. Anyway I am sure you will be happy at the Grace - judging by the comments in this forum people have been happy staying there 8-)

I believe that I have to get in touch with Grace since I haven't heard from them for a couple of days. I'm waiting for their bank account.

Regina not sure if this helps but when I send you an email via this website it seems to be fine but trying to send you an email directly from my email address seems to send my email account into melt down so the messages don't get sent.

It may be safer to give Grace a call as perhaps they are having the same problem.

Adriana, I really don't know what is the problem. I've checked all my options and everything seems to be ok. I even tried to send to myself an email (from another email address of course) and I got it. Anyway, I am receiving emails from my regular contacts... mah!

Maziemoo, this morning I sent an email to Grace to check if they got my last message. If I don't get a reply I'll send them a fax.
If you don't mind I'd like to send an email to your address to check if you can get it.
