I thought you would be interested in this newly published novel; although set on the fictional island of 'Thiminos', the landscape and some of characters in the narrative seem very familiar!

Many of you will know Anne and her son Will, who has been working in Giorgio's this summer.

I read a proof copy a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it.

There were four copies of the book in my local Waterstones this morning.

I wonder if it's available in Danish stores?

P.S. Only �6.58 from Amazon (postage extra). It says it is a "hard cover", but it is in-between a hard back and a paper back, just in case you don't want to take a hard back on holiday due to the size and weight.

Have been wondering what I can take to read, so will run out and purchase a copy. The thought of trying to hold up the hardback of Piers Morgan's second book on the beach has been making my wrists go limp.

Perhaps I could identify myself in Pat's bar by having my copy on the table. That way, you can either run or come and join me!
