Hi Mike, Thats a very nice gesture from the new hotel..thanks Mr. and Mrs. Iapetos. :D
Trouble is that May is almost upon us. As many, many of the SV family go to the island in mid/late Sept. would it be possible for the kind offer be transferred from the begining of the season to the end?

My turn to be cynical! :P As none of the Symi accommodation is likely to be full during the first half of May, the Iapetos can afford to be generous!

Whereas if they couldn't fill the accommodation in mid/late Sept, methinks they would be in trouble - and it would be daft to give it away then!

Yes, a generous gesture from the Iapetos. I've entered anyway so, with my competition success rate, that means I won't be going.

Win this as well and you will already have somewhere to stay and eat. Any competitions for free beer? Let me know if you find one.

Free ouzo would be better. My on-and-off love affair with Mythos is usually off after the first few of the holiday when I remember that I don't really like lager at all. Though I can be persuaded by one at Lefteris's after an evening walk up the Kali.

Why walk all the way up for a Mythos - there are many places serving it downstairs! :geek:

There are many good reasons for walking up the KaliStrata (not least if you are staying in Chorio ) and by the time you get there you're in need of (another?) beer - Mythos or otherwise! How's that then, Mazie ? Do we do a "Kojak" and appreciate it until the legs go wobbly ?

One's legs never wobble -they merely tremble slightly with age....

The legs are fine, it's that damned Kalistrata that keeps moving :geek: ;) ..... oh and the roll of the ferry due to the swell of the waves makes it very difficult to walk in a straight line ;) !

How disappointing to learn that it is age that causes Kojak's knee trembles 8-)
