I recieved a text from Adriana today.

I'm sorry to forward it to you all...

The internet is down, so no new images from our beloved webcam.

And to the more bad news for the ones making the last preperations.
The hydrofoil has gone Kaputt. Weekend travellers please call ANES at 00302246071444

Well, that's put the eagle amongst the pigeons. Is this likely to be permanent, I wonder? The Aegli has had a lot of hard use lately and she is getting on a bit. If the Symi II is back on the ferry run then presumably this will affect the day trip schedules as well. Perhaps it is fortunate that we were not permitted to buy ANES shares when they went on offer a couple of years ago.

The Aegli wasn't exactly a youngster when ANES bought her. Any indication if/when the Proteus may return?

I think Proteus is past her due date.

It's such a shame that we couldn't buy any ANES shares

I wish someone would invest a bit of money and buy a fleet of those High Speed Cats like they have in the Cyclades ,they are fantastic big boats very fast and further more they can run the whole Dodecanese route.Boy i wish i had some money . ;)

Phew. Back on the air! :D

The Symi II is doing special trips to compensate for the Aegli which is still poorly.

Now to get on with answering the back log of emails... :o

The Aegli must be better because these hydrofoils are breeding now:
