Hours of innocent fun Mike. In fact, if you're not a football fan it's better than the television at the moment!

Wow...that's neat....looks like all plain sailing in the Symi area but the more congested areas make for some interesting observation  !

Yes, how splendid! :D :D

Particularly useful if you're sitting on the quayside wondering about the whereabouts of your ferry which should have arrived 2 hours ago!

And if you look at the big blue arrow currently homing in on Symi at the moment, it is the World, chuntering along at 12 knots.

:D

Can't see her from the window yet though (she said, dodging the scaffolding!). The island has been on tenterhooks for days. :P

Yes, I noticed The World ambling along. I do remember her (nearly) in the Harbour a year or two back, with all those tenders buzzing backwards and forwards to an attended, carpeted landing stage on the harbour wall and golf carts to drive the poor tenants around. Can't see her from your window, Adriana? She's so enormous that I can see her from here in Bristol.

I also note that the dear old Salamis Glory seems to have bypassed Symi this time. No room in Yialos for both lots of passengers?

A thing of beauty she ain't... Now Sea Cloud, on the other hand...

I certainly wouldn't want to be in one of those top storey apartments in any kind of rough weather. :(

Symi II is scuttling to hide at Panormitis, the Proteus is running for cover to Castelorizo. Looks like they are all in retreat before The World arrives!

Somehow I thought that the webcam might just get knocked by the painters today so that it points towards Nimos. How careless!

I do like following the various ships around the Symi area, particularly the Dodecanese boats as you can track their progress due to the speed they move at. I've never managed to get a picture of them arriving or leaving Symi because they don't hang about - blink and you miss them!
