I'll give it a dose of tlc when I'm there in a few weeks time, ready for the webcam wave season.

Posted: 07 May 2013, 11:07The webcam has had its annual service and should be working better with a clearer picture. The time and date is displaying again too.
There are still some problems with the office internet connection so there may be times when the camera seems 'stuck'.

Posted: 18 May 2013, 20:04It is giving us some real grief this season. I gave it a good clean, refocussed and reset all the settings when I was there for Easter.
It worked fine and looked wonderful until I got home when it stopped working again.
Moral of the story: Don't come home!
I'm working on a couple of things that may help but it's going to take a little while. In the meantime we have to rely on Adriana turning the thing off and on again which usually (but not always) does the trick.
