Proteus 10 September

The Proteus car ferry which serves the inter island route including Nissyros and Tilos will be out of service for the week starting 10 September for maintenance reasons.

Thanks for the warning about that one Adriana.

I hope they don't have to extend the maintenance period or I'm in for a tedious trip via Rhodes

on the way from Tilos to Symi on the 20th.

Just a week and a bit to go.

Presume that the latest ferry times remain valid - arriving Wed 20.09.06 so it seems if flight early (due to land 14.10) we might just get Aegli at 14.30 but unlikely. Next we see that Dodecanese leaves Rhodes at 15.00 and if we miss that it's the 18.30 ANES - would this be right ?

So looking forward to our visit.

ANES told us yesterday that the Aegli should be back in service tomorrow...

To be on the safe side work with the Dodecanese Pride from Kolonna at 15.00 and the Symi ferry (which may be the Proteus as they use them interchangeably) from the commercial harbour at 18.30.
