Mmmm I know what you mean. I'm sorry my message to you was a bit terse. I'd composed a nice chatty e-mail which the system wouldn't let me send because it was too long - kept cutting out words until all I was left with was a demand for your e mail address which, upon reflection, looked a bit rude.

The "Email User" function seems to limit you to 300-characters - not a lot for a chat about Wee Jimmy's erection! I don't know why this is and maybe Mike can change it?

Alternatively you can use the "PM User" option instead of email since that doesn't seem to have any restriction on the size of your message. The disadvantage is that you have to log in to the chat page to check for new messages. But you'd be doing that anyway wouldn't you? 8-)

It may be that Benedetti used the "PM" function to send your message. Click the "Private Messages" link, top right, and see if there's anything in your inbox.
