The sun's out, the sky is blue and the parade starts in half an hour. :D :D :D :D :D

Unfortunately, since the Girlies were out enjoying themselves, I forgot about them. Am I allowed to cook some tonight, on Ash Wednesday? Is Clean Monday also Shrove Monday, as another post mentioned? Do you have pancakes after the flying of the kites?

Technically speaking, eggs are off limits so no pancakes...

The usual Clean Monday picnic is seafood, salads, pickles and lagana which is a kind of flat oval sesame seed bread. As I am horribly allergic to seafood

I stick to the salads, pickles and lagana
