Haven't seen the photo yet, Adriana but I bet they are levelled in the dead of night very soon. Sarcastic -, aren't I?
It will be interesting to see how the new traffic police cope!

Call them speed bumps, they would not rattle Granny's false teeth. :(
Some speed bumps here look like mini Andes and you have to be VERY careful when crossing them. Raise them up a bit....

They'd be a lot more effective with spikes all over them

Yes Richard but then the road would be clogged up with all those dead cars and bikes.

Is THAT Greek speed bumps?
Geez, I thought it would be like the ones here..
Drive slowly over them or you'll end up with your head permanently stuck to the roof of the car!

I bet Michaelis the Harbour won't be pleased - his head is already jammed against the roof of his little truck! On the bright side - it would be interesting to see how he'd decorate a crash helmet! :D :D

Hey, they got them speed bumps in 'olland. Just got back from quick visit. Perhaps set a record, on Saturday 10, had breakfast in Holland, lunch in Germany and supper in England. :) . Spent night at Heathrow :o Now back home to the pristine white landscape :(

You didn't spend much time in Dusseldorf, then, MacDuff. Was the beer that bad?

I was in the harbour today and observed that although the cars are slowing down to take the speed bumps, the motorbikes are not slowing at all as the boys think they are great fun. In some case they actually seem to be speeding up to get more height as they fly over!!

Congratulations on your first posting, Clare. Have you persuaded Pat to see how fast she can go over the things yet?

They had a speed bump on the Pedi road many years ago. It wasn't deliberate, they started resurfacing the road from both ends and they weren't quite the same height when they met up :D

Yes Richard :) Had a beer at Dusseldorf Airport - quite good. Didn't have time to go for a good old Bauernshmaus and a couple of litres of the Munich beer. :geek: But the speed bumps in Holland have posts showing the gradients
