Adriana, any news of the web cams, just had a look and saw the picture with the date 14 July 2006, has there been any reference to the lack of the web cam that I have missed or have the gremlins from Cyberspace ended the service?. I see the picture from your window at the office most days but miss the updates throughout the day.

C'mon Jerry, have a peek out of you own window. Look beyond the square, you'd be stunned at what you saw...true. :)

It wasn't the gremlins - it was the operating environment(meltdown!) - so we are operating on manual at the moment - me and my Olympus! :D

Must confess, the focus is better and it gives me an excuse to look out of the window in the context of work! :P

Lucky you, if only I had such a view in reality, I have to close my eyes to picture your view. I am looking out of my window, continuous rain all day, most roads in the area flooded. Originally forcast for 75mm rainfall in 24 hours, this much fell in 8 hours. Unfortunatly one man has died in the floods this morning. The forcast is for it to ease by the morning, and hopefully the water will have gone down, 3 of the people at work have already been flooded out.

Thanks Adriana for the late afternoon view from your office, now I won't have to dream this afternoon of the boats in the harbour.

Apparently webcams showing harbour views or anything that could be described as 'sensitive' are longer allowed for security reasons. Makes sense, I suppose. We'll just have to make sure that it is always aimed in an innocuous direction! :D

Adriana, you've now set my imagination wandering about the webcam picking up "sensitive" things in the harbour... - Richard furtively ordering another Mythos? Maziemou and myself having an assignation by the fish slab at Manos? Someone nominally on a diet sneaking out to the chip machine late at night? You might even catch Costas the Taxi smiling! :D

Hey Kojak leave Costas alone .. he always smiles at me and ..... kisses the back of my hand and ..... has serenaded me on a number of occasions.
Joking aside, have you ever seen him dance .. he is so light on his feet, it's amazing.

You might have caught him in a good mood, Sue, He once blew a kiss at me - but he'd just returned from a visit to "ladies" in Rhodes! :o

Costas dancing is a sight to behold especially when he has bare feet, turning black as the evening goes on. I think his secret is to replace lost fluids with Wine, Beer etc faster than his rate of perspiring.

Ahh, though I've never used a taxi on Symi, I may now have an idea of who the fellow in question is  !

Trying to be sympathetic, perhaps it's not exactly an easy life being a taxi driver of Symi and so the poor fellow has had the smiles beaten out of him by demanding tourists ;) !
