Terrific advice coming in from everyone on the best times and areas to stay on Symi. Still wavering a bit on each but we seem to be looking toward May 09 (have to save the readies) as the best time to go. Now we only have to decide on the port or the old town. :idea:

But gee it's fun research this and only makes us more determined to get there ASAP. Thanks fellow Symi lovers.

A quick tip, Brian - they decision making becomes part of the fun. If, when you get there, you feel you've got it wrong, relax.
However wrong you may get it, it is only to a small - very small - degree and will not spoil your trip one iota.
