I enjoyed watching the 24 hours high-speed rewind, especially seeing the Moon dive behind the hills.

Which reminds me: if anyone happens to be around with a camera at 03:27 tomorrow morning,

It would have to blow hard to move it that far!

Nice view though and very pretty at night.

It only happens at the full moon, especially if there is an eclipse.

Which may be the reason for the very strange "last 24 hours" webcam timelapse sequence on the webcam page. Reminds me of someone.

Looks like a bit of a wet day on Symi...

The new webcam view is lovely  but you don't get such a feel for the comings and goings of the inter island ferries etc. .....I guess it's a privacy thing.....oh well, a view is better than no view :)

Yes, and the hamster is wearing big rubber boots which is why he kicked the connection.

The bit of a boat you can see is the little ferry from Nissyros. Symi's football team is playing Nissyros today, down in Pedi. Looks like it will be very muddy game! :) Glad I'm not doing their laundry! :D

Just switched the webcam round to its old position as we have so many requests from people who miss the comings and goings of the bus etc... :) :P

Looks like we need two webcams! :o

I've just had a look at the webcam, I don't do it very often as its usually night on Symi when I am on line.

I reckon its either just after 5 or just after 6 and all I can see is approx. 15 vehicles...and part of the beautiful harbour..

The webcam picture just now looks as though the road alongside the harbour is seriously flooded.

Has Symi been getting the same sort of weather as we've been having in the UK? (After the problems earlier this week in the SW of England, I note from the lunchtime news that it's been the turn of the NW to suffer today!)
