Windy but fine in Lancashire. Strange having a Bank Holiday without rain!

Very windy in Bristol. Severe weather warning. At least 40mm rain forecast. Perfect weather for the Bruton Packhorse Fair and BBQ.

Changing browser is a good idea as is clearing the cache.

Lovely dry Bank Holiday in West Yorkshire but VERY WINDY, but the wind's eased off now. Also just 8 days before we fly so getting holiday clothes washed and dried - plenty of time to iron them (maybe)! Also our wedding anniversary so Mr Val is preparing to cook dinner for his wife of 29 years - chicken breasts stuffed with haggis, wrapped in bacon; new potatoes and asparagus - SOUNDS delicious!

Firstly, congratulations Val on your 29th....I hope the delicious sounding meal goes well. Never heard of chicken stuffed with haggis before. I do enjoy haggis though with a wee drop of good quality whiskey poured over the top :geek: !

Been wet and windy all day in Oxfordshire so that put paid to my gardening plans  !

I do hope it was a free range haggis.

Hi people, Many thanks for the welcome messages, have been upto my eyes in it..rain mainly and mud and more rain and clouds...Was very upset as was supposed to go to Brands Hatch on Monday and drive the Lotus around the track as part of the Classic Masters - but too much rain as Blossom (M100 S2)doesn't do rain...Is Ms. Exige a Lotus driver as well? I am going to the Lotus factory and track on a driving course I think my hubby is trying to tell me something - it is called "drive yourself sensible" can't think what though!. Am still learning how to navigate the site, and I am not sure how to do a picture maybe Allan could advise me?

Both anniversary and haggis-stuffed chicken were wonderful(added the wee dram as a "sauce" to the haggis, perfection-thank you) Ouzo-or 2-as nightcaps to get in mood for next week!

Our Haggis came from a butcher in Dumfries and Galloway and is one of the best I've ever tasted, melted in the mouth.
