Welcome to a new member

Thank you for all being wonderful. I have been practicing my sitting in the sunshine watching the world go by today, and have indeed become more freckled in the old face. We're going to be staying at the Iapetos Village. I ain't seen a great deal written about it on this site, in fact I ain't seen owt wroted about it on this site. (I've got the bestest English Grandma in the world) Does anyone have any news or views? I believe it's rather new whatho. I shall ensure that I am at the front of the boat when we sail into the harbour. Oh I wish it were tomorrow. Oh, and now I'm here, you'll have trouble getting rid of me. Tee Hee.

I peeked over the fence of Iapetos Village when there earlier in the year and it looked very nice indeed and nice location

Yes, it's been nice sitting out getting a suntan weather today hasn't it?

As Mazie said, Iapetos Village does look very nice from outside. It's a collection of small buildings surrounding a very nice looking garden area.

Unusually for Symi, there is also a small swimming pool in a clever semi-indoor location. It's in the building with the huge arches in the picture below:

You're right, it is a very new place and looks very swish indeed. Only a couple of minutes from the harbour but in a nice quiet area.

You'll love it!
