I've logged on most evenings this week and much to my dismay there's no one there! Where's everyone gone? Symi?

The weather was hot, Snakey and the beer was cold and lovely. I may have left you a smidgeon in the dregs of the barrels... :P

Hi all, thank you for your welcome home messages :) .

I had a wonderful time although sadly never didn't get to hear the dulcet tones of a certain handsome guitar player  ! However all was not lost as I was on the receiving end of that wonderful smile  and a "welcome back" .....quite made me go weak at the knees  .

The weather seemed exceptionally hot  necessitating frequent stops at various watering holes, Odyssia round near Harani....they do wonderful baklava, Elpidas and as usual one of my favourite places Pachos. Also visited the Olive Tree up in Horio for a banana milkshake and a slice of chocolate cake.....can seriously recommend it. Then there were of course the usual upstairs haunts which included Sunrise, Rainbow and the Two A's. All this may give the impression I did nothing but consume alcohol, however after my initial bout of "delayed travel sickness" I was inclined to take things a little easy.

On the subject of steps. Kojak my dear friend, I seem to recall a 50 minute descent down the Kalistrata in the wee small hours following a night of 'letting my hair down' at Jean's birthday party. For some reason one of us seemed to be intent on taking 2 steps forward and 5 steps back!
