Yes, Buzzy, you will be on the 19.15 Proteus. I land at 4pm from Manchester and my friends arrive from Newcastle about the same time. If the baggage handlers take a long tea break we might all be in the baggage reclaim area together!

Anyone else staying to the end of season like us. We are getting our flight from Rhodes on 1st Nov 5.45 am? I beginning to feel like it will be just us and the reps going back.

Just found out that the Nireus hotel restaurant will be closed for our stay. What a shame. Maybe they have not got enough bookings to keep it open. I know there are apparently many others in the area it's just that it would have been nice to taste some of their dishes as I've heard they are very good.

Many tourist orientated business close in late October, Buzzy, as the season winds down  , but as Symi has a permanent population of nearly 3000 people there are always the places where the locals eat and drink and that makes for a much more authentic experience :D

Buzzy, we wont be there quite as late as you but we will be on the island for 9 days towards the end of October leaving on the 28th . We are staying at Dinos Sponge apartments just behind the national bank so we tend to stay around Yialos at night with maybe one night up in Horio so we may see you about.
