:? :? You have no idea how long it took me to persuade son and his girlfriend to wave. Do you honestly think i am going to invest all that energy into a wave to miss it? I think not Kojak - i think not!! :geek: :geek:

The old SV Office webcam did indeed have a 60 second library of each 24 hours but this stopped some time ago (as did the webcam, unfortunately). I don't think the Accommodation Office webcam keeps such a record.

So, unless you phoned your Great Aunt Betty and warned her to look out for you at a certain time (yes, it does happen), I'm afraid that your webcam wave and dance will have been lost to posterity.

Update: I see that the Office webcam is indeed still available on the Yassou.com page as well as the old automagic page. I really must keep up.

What we need is Anthony or Glen in the company with their wi-fi laptops, logged into the SV website so they can tell when the webcam refreshes. That will save us from standing there like lemons waving for up to 30 seconds! :D

Just give us a time in advance. Great Aunt Betty will be watching. I expect you will be able to stand up at the corner table in Pachos for at least 60 seconds before collapsing again.

Such a pity there wasn't an archive version of 'the wave' Snoopy2, I'd hoped to catch a glimpse of you with the snoopets....you'd be the one wearing the pashmina of course ;) !

:) :) Actually what i used the pashimina for was roping my son and his girlfriend together in order to haul them to the spot for the wave!! You would have thought i was entering them into the X Facotr instead of a simple Symi wave. Cor lumey!!! :geek:

Has the shop next to the laundry (left of the webcam) closed for the winter? The roof has been stripped, the display cabinets have vanished and there are no lights on in the evenings.

Yes, Chouchi Gold has closed for the season. So has the Kali Strata bar.
