Posted: 07 Aug 2011, 18:01This is what's technically known as 'A Bit Weird' 
Occasional partial upload of the picture happens fairly often, caused by the slow internet connection on Symi and the way that the webpage is refreshed but this is different.
Not only are the pictures chopped off but sometimes the time and date jumps back a few days.
The webcam did this for a while about a month ago but then 'fixed itself' and I was hoping it would keep working until I'm next out there but, as you can see, it's gone A Bit Weird again.
If we can't get it to behave I'll have to ship the spare webcam out to the island and that will take a little while of course.
Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.

Posted: 09 Aug 2011, 20:19The spare webcam is on its way to Symi via special courier (thanks Peterv) so fingers crossed it'll be fixed soon. Meanwhile 3/4 of a picture is better than nothing!

Shame about that as I get a great picture. However it is a bit suspect when it's still daylight and it's after midnight in Symi lol
