Symi Chat

Hi I�m new to Symi Chat but I�ve been an infrequent visitor to Symi since 1995 - always in August and early September when there are boats to the beaches. Can anyone tell me which months they run please

I normally visit Symi early'ish (April/May) or late (September/October) and found both the taxi and excursion boats running. Doubtless they will only run if there is enough trade to make it worthwhile. When are you intending to visit?
NB: Someone else will have to answer this for the next couple of weeks.

Hello Sue and welcome to the chatpage,as far as I know they always run during the season.But like Richard said if there are enough passengers.Quite a few of our members are in Symi at the moment,so its rather quiet around here

Thanks Richard We were thinking about Easter to do some walking I don't expect too much in the way beach weather but maybe walking to meet a boat. We walk at home but in Symi in August we walk into the sea, to the bar, the taverna and up the many steps around Symi in search of the ultimate harbour picture.

Hello Sue. The season doesn't start until Greek Easter, which isn't always the same as ours so do check. Also, the number of boats to link up with walks will depend on the number of people on the island.

I was there in May this year, around mid month and the taxi boats weren't running but I would ask Adriana nearer the time.
