l want one of those profile pictures everyone seems to have...l'm the only person on the planet without one !

Oh , l thought 'The Symi Visitor' had a selection to choose from, dunno why l thought that. OK, Kojak, thnx for that. Not wishing to wish the summer away...But, roll on 14 wks, 4 days and 6 hours !

If you click on the 'Profile' link at the top right of this page, then look for 'Avatar Selection', there are plenty of pre-existing images to choose from. If you want your own photo used, then you need to email it in.

Thnx Mikegad (slapped wrist's Kojak !) l'll have a browse...faling that, it'll be a photo of my lovely English Setter, Pru fast asleep (snoring) on her chair !

I did email one over a week ago... I know I'm not all that good looking and you probably don't want to frighten any kids on the site, but it's still not been uploaded!
I wonder if you could confirm that the email with the attached piccy got through?

Paul, your email did get through and I replied on May 20th. Maybe it's stuck in a spam folder somewhere?

The avatars are installed on the forum server (I produced two different ones) and you should find them in the avatar list as 'Planoudis_1' and 'Planoudis_2'. Click the 'Profile' link at the top of the page to set your avatar.

They are both crops from the original image to better fit the tiny space available for avatars. The original image is there too and installed as your profile picture.

If you have any trouble setting your avatar or want a different crop just let me know.

Your 'Avatar' is the tiny picture that appears next to each of your posts. The much bigger 'Profile picture' is only displays when someone views your profile by clicking your name.

Both of these are optional and you can change them yourself by clicking the word 'Profile' at the top of the page as Mike Gadd mentioned. There are loads of avatar pictures to choose from but, to be honest, they're mostly naff.

If you don't like any of the available avatars you can email a picture of your own to me at sv_chatpage@symi.eu.com and I'll make it your avatar.

In the meantime, since you're always baking I've set your avatar to be a cake. Hope you don't mind.
