Hi, where is the temperature taken from that can be seen at the top of the screen?

The temperature is taken from Rhodes airport, the closest official measurement, with a slight "Symi uplift" to give a very close approximation to the temperature on the island.
It's rarely more than a degree or two out.

One year we spent an afternoon walking around the market stalls in Rhodes Old Town as part of the final part of our trip home. My wife was wearing a thin cardigan and one of the stall holders ask why she was cold and she told them she had spent 2 weeks on Symi! Even he said that Symi was too and just laughed.
