Taxi boats, are there many companies to choose from and are there any you'd recommend? Thanks. :)

Although everyone calls them taxi boats, technically they aren't, because they run to a timetable, not on demand. They're really waterbuses.
So any choice you have is restricted to boats that are going to where you want to go, when you want to go. In Yialos there are two groupings of taxi boat operators. From a customer perspective there's nothing to choose between them, unless you want to go to Nimborio or Marathounda, as normally only a single boat serves Nimborio, and another Marathounda and so there's no alternative (except to go by road instead).
The operator groupings are partly based on being in the same family and partly convenience - each group only needs one person selling tickets, and they can offer a choice of return times from the more popular beaches without you having to wait for the same boat to make another trip.
