Hi,

Its our 1st visit to Symi on the 20th June, flight from Birmingham arrives in plenty of time for us to catch the 18:00 ferry. My question is were do they drop you to wait for the ferry? been to Meganisi had to wait a few hours for the ferry from Nidri over to Meganisi, they had a taverna for leaving cases. Hope we can get a nice lunch any advice would be much appreciated.

Are you on a package holiday, and if so, who is the tour operator?
If you are travelling independently, get a taxi from the airport to the Taverna Mouragio,which is right opposite the entrance to Alkandia quay, the 18:00 ferry leaves from Akandia
Mouragio has good Greek family cooking and is used by locals-always a good sign.

In recent years they have used the lobby of the International Hotel as their drop off and pick up point.
