Happy New Year LisaB and all other Symi Chatters :D

The incessant rain we have had here on the coast of Mid Wales since Christmas makes us yearn even more for Symi.

Yesterday was our first dry day but today we have returned to showers. Of course the rain that falls here in Mid Wales in the Cambrian mountains flows down into the River Severn and then to Shrewsbury and down through England and after such rainfall as we have experienced can cause havoc.

But to overcome the gloom we booked our flights for September on New Years Day when the easyJet "sale" opened and got the same flights as we had from Bristol last year with an 07:00 departure time on the way out and an arrival time of 16:30 on the way back - only 249 days until that trip. But as that is far too long to wait we also have our Olympic trip in 149 days time. It's the usual pattern of Up in June and Down in September.

Now to mark another day off the calendar :D

Happy New Year to you all.

Having no holiday through circumstances we are looking forward to our 3 weeks in June/July although we will just miss you D&E.

Looking forward to your ramblings and pictures and It would be nice if a few more Symi lovers posted a few reviews and pictures.

Happy New Year to all!

Hopefully we’ll make it to Symi in 2024 but have nothing booked so far. We are spending four weeks in USA mid-April to mid-May so we’ll have to see how severely our resources are drained. Fingers crossed that there’ll be something left for an autumn visit.
