Are face masks still required anywhere on the island…eg.on the bus, in tavernas or on the taxi boats? Any info much appreciated as we are due to arrive soon for a 2 week holiday after an enforced COVID break of 2 years …..can’t wait

Tough question to answer tbh.

We should wear masks in taxis, at the pharmacy and in airports, but..
At the airport three weeks ago it wsa 50/50, some did, some didn't.

On Symi I didn't wear a mask at all.

We are taking one with us and use when we or others need to.

Not sure how pleasant it will be with the heat though.

I made a point of always having a mask in my pocket but, like Mille, I didn't feel the need to use it.
