Just want to say we are here, so worth all the paperwork etc. Still as beautiful as ever. :D

Yay! :D

That IS good news Lisa. I'm pleased you managed all the paperwork, it must have been tough. But Symi is worth it.

Inge and I have on Symi too.
We arrived with Spanos Pride 8.50, and Fratzesko from Taxiarchis was waiting to bring us to our room.
Aften some shopping in the American we walked to Nikolaos and spend some very Nice hours there before walking back to Taxiarchis.
Around 7 we walked down the stairs and aften a walk to the clocktower , we went to Pachos to have our usual tro Ouzos before we went to Trata to eat stuffed mushrooms etc.
Up the stairs we had our nightcaps at Lefteris before going home.
Quite a normal day on Symi, so on Symi almost everything is as it used to be, but hopefully all who would like to visit this wonderful spot will be able to come back next summer.

All the best

Next Wednesday for us. Need to lie down on a sunny beach after all the hoops we've jumped through to get there! :)

We’ve been here for almost a week now. After the stress of organising all the pre-departure paperwork, we breezed through arrivals at Rhodes airport and on to Symi. It’s great to be back and have received the usual warm welcome from the locals. The island is busier than last year. Most places are up and running though there are one or two exceptions - Odyssia, for example. The day excursion and taxi boats are all operating so we are making the most of the outdoor life, especially as the temperatures are still up around 30 degrees. Do hope that as life resumes a semblance of normality, more of you will be able to get here next year. In the meantime we’ll raise a glass to you! Julia x

Yamas J&M - we are in the process of moving house but as soon as that’s fixed the planning for the return next year commences. Missing the place so much.

Twice! So jealous. We're trying July instead if Sept next year.
