Symi Chat

I'm very sorry to have to report that Gail Wormald who posted here as Gemma1 has passed away.
I met her several times on Symi and enjoyed our chats about different Greek islands we had visited. She was very well travelled and loved Greece, visiting many, many different islands but she always returned to Symi.

Goodbye Gail. I will miss you.

So shocked and saddened to read this.
We regularly chatted with Gemma1 (Gail) through this forum and exchanged notes on places to eat and things to do.
We loved reading about Gail’s trips to other islands but her love for Symi always shone through.
We almost met at Taverna Daphni at Tolis once but hadn’t realised we had been sitting in tables opposite each other for lunch until it became obvious in an exchange of trip reports the next day.

That was a nice story. Gail probably walked to Tolis, she walked a lot and I was very jealous of her.

I seem to haved missed this.

RIP Gail.
