I am arriving on the 30th of August for one week staying at the Odyssia apps I am recovering from a foot opp and would like to be able to borrow a wheelchair I have tried to hire one from Rhodes but with no joy I am willing to pay for the chair

Hello Christine and welcome. Sorry to hear about your foot surgery.

Now that's a question we haven't come across before! There's no official way to hire a wheelchair on the island that I know of but they do exist of course so I suggest you ask at the doctor's clinic while you are there and see what they suggest.

You will find them very helpful and sympathetic so if there is a way of helping you out I'm sure they will do their best.
