Hello - does anyone know if the two Argentinian brothers are still running Agia Marina and if so are they open in the evening or has this idea not happened? I know Muses is closed.

We heard last year that Agia Marina were thinking about opening in the evenings but that would have needed a water taxi to get people there and back and we saw no evidence of that a couple of weeks ago so perhaps it didn't materialise - a great idea if they could have made it work as we would certainly love to dine in that idyllic location of an evening.

As for the Muses E spotted on Facebook that a new venture was opening there but she isn't around to say exactly what. If memory serves us correctly when we first went to Symi the place was The Winemasters and Nikos ran it. The novelty was going down into the cellar and Nikos would explain Greek wines and recommend something suitable for the food you had chosen. Greek wines have come on a long way since those days.

It was also a Chinese Restaurant at one point.

Whatever the latest reincarnation we wish it well.
