Chorio video

Recent posts here about exploring around Chorio nudged me into looking through my huge collection of video clips collected over the past few years and editing a few of the Chorio ones into a complete video.

The correct way to do it would have been to assemble the whole video and then find a suitable piece of background music to go with it.

I didn't do that.

I dug out a piece of royalty-free music that I really like and then tried to edit the videos to fit the music. Even though the music doesn't really go with the subject matter.

The more I fiddled with the editing, the more I wanted to tie everything to the music until it was more about the music than the views of lovely Chorio. This is NOT the way to make a travel video! :D

Anyway, I think it gives a fair impression of the hidden bits of upper Chorio so here it is. You should be able to play it directly in the window below but it's better in full-screen mode and, of course, with the sound turned up loud. ;)

Really enjoyed the video Allan, though the music did make me feel as though I'd have to jog rather than stroll through the hidden lanes of Chorio ;)

Excellent work Allan - good editing we thought - many happy memories of getting "lost and found" in those historic passageways - somehow always finding our way back to Yannis :D

Thank you for the comments.

You can jog if you want ;) Just don't expect me to do the same.

Ah, yes, the Rainbow Magnet. It does have a huge range and it's impossible to resist, isn't it? :D

Great video!

Can't wait for a wander round the lanes up top!

We tried to get lost in those lanes but always seemed to find our way out .

Nice video. Thank you. Our house is behind the museum, and the orange-and-white cat looks like Nemesis, our Symi cat!

Thank you for the kind words annadev. The orange and white cat was sitting just behind one of the churches very close to the museum so it could well have been Nemesis. :D
