Just got the July SV and there on page 30 is a big ad for The Astarti Bar, a nude recling woman and what appears to be two women about to...Jeez, I'm blushing ;)
Sunshine, Alan, Kojak ( ;) ), Orr Willie and even you, Pat, I hoped you don't tuck a gin/ouzo/brandy/whiskey soaked wife into bed and then scurry off to this den of sin :?: :twisted:

Mind you, I expect when this was a thriving port full of rollicking sailors back in 18whatsit there was more than one Astarte...!

It doesn't belong to any of the usual entrepreneurs but this is it's second season...so presumably there is a demand..?!

Reading between the lines of what Adriana wrote it seems it is a house of ill repute (see, I've reformed, the old OG would have called it a "Knock Shop")

I bet it's catered for by nubile Bulgarian and Russian girls..

Being a Cabinet Minister, Alan, you are entitled to check it out. All expenses fully reimbursed from Cabinet funds....except Doctors bills :cry:

Is it housed in the gym building? I can remember when the rooftop was run by Pavlos, who unfortunately succumbed to cancer.

In June the island was plastered with posters advertising "Exotic Dancers" at the Astarte, featuring dreadfully unflattering pictures of two girls. However, having spotted the pair drinking with their minder at Kantirimi, I can report that the pictures were in fact very flattering indeed!

If that's what passes for exotica on Symi the army lads must be more desperate than even British squadies!
