Fourth World Peace Day Swim

This year's World Peace Day swim between Symi and Datca is about to start. The Triton is loading up with the swimming team, medical supplies, officials etc.

Pity it is so windy but no there are signs of anyone chickening out

We've all got our fingers crossed as conditions are less than ideal for swimming from Symi to Datca (the Datca team will have the advantage of a tail wind so they're laughing.

We've just been informed by Symi town hall that in the light of the two metre swell running in the Datca Channel it has been decided to defer the swim until tomorrow. :cry:

The wind is already dropping but the swell is still too dangerous and conditions tomorrow should be perfect.
