A great shame. Parga is gorgeous but not a patch on Symi. The "other page" has a lot to answer for. Sorry about the preposition.

Don't understand how someone could turn and say anything bad about Symi or write anything bad about it ,sounds as if Pat(not saying that you said anything bad) you never been or am i wrong ,have a look at pictures people send in on symi visitor and the comments we daily contribute about symi life ,bars, cafes ,restaraunts ,beautiful crystal clear waters and above all beautiful people who treat you like a a long awaited freind.Sorry guys i may sound a bit like symi tourism minister but hey its the truth.Pat enjoy your holidays where ever you go ,but put Symi on your must visit list .

I assume you live in the UK. I also assume you will read a newspaper or watch the news today. Will you then be leaving the UK tomorrow?

Seems too simplistic a statement. I read something negative so I'm doing something else?

Will the posters act the same way if they pick up a British newspaper and read about the shootings, the drugs the crime figures. Will they not go home, or will they ignore and carry on with life regardless?

A rather strange thing to state, unless they have an agenda?

OK?

im a regular visitor and spent some time there this year and noticed no change but i feel reading the other page that mixing with some of the people that write on the page, and live on symi would not be nice.
i work in brighton with that type of people and dont need that for a holiday
but i will still be back to symi.just need a break

Have a great holiday Pat! Wish I was off somewhere warm! It's wet, cold and very dreary in Manchester this evening!

"I work in brighton with that type of people and dont need that for a holiday"

Brighton being the gay capital of Britain, and seeing as a gay couple run the "other page", we could be forgiven for thinking that you mean gay people, pat. Is this what you meant?

"That type of people" can mean ANYTHING, Hermes and I suggest you ask pat in private, to avoid things getting out of hand.
Thank you.
