You've all heard it i'm sure especially climbing the Kalistrata in the evening. That intermittent beeping sound. Almost like an sonar ping.

I always suspected it was a bird of some kind but i finally confirmed exactly what today

This puzzled us as well, especially the first time we went to Halki when Petros told us the noise was made by a little fly. We had visions of cyber insects until we got home and discovered the culprit had been a Scops owl as you point out!
