Mid 30's here in Perth today and they predict the same for at least a week.
The 3rd Ashes test starts on Thursday, the pubs are celebrating as the barmy army have thirsts like drovers dogs. :geek:

Earlier today I would have told you that we had a bright sunny day, but when I came out from a meeting this evening it was pouring AGAIN. The weather in Denmark is just like babies, you can't keep them dry very long. When you just relax for 5 minutes they start the stream over again.

A dry ale house? What sort of use is that?

Are you sure you were in Manchester? Sounds more like Wales to me! ;)

Rest assured, the only thing "dry" about it was the fact that the roof wasn't leaking. Otherwise, it was a very wet :) 8-) ;) "do"

Dry Ale Houses in Wales ?

That all stopped when I came down from Scotland 16 years ago !! and even before then a knock at a back door always seemed to work.

In fact it is just about time to catch the 11.00 am bus into Aberystwyth for a pint of the Rev. James and partake of the second Christmas Bash of the year - there goes Saturday then ;)

Like the festive backdrop - nice touch.

Merry Christmas one and all
