Who's been to Symi in the winter?

Its just a bit of a faff to post, entering codes, remembering passwords etc.

 I can recommend a very useful bit of software called Roboform, from [/color]. It remembers your log-in and password for as many different sites as you want (up to 30 for the free version, an unlimited number if you buy the full works), and enters them with a single click. It also fills in forms for you if you want, using stored information like your name, address, telephone numbers etc - even credit card details if you want to entrust it with that. :)

Who's been to Symi in the winter?

There's plenty of socialising in the winter, Geoff. For those of us who live and work here, it's the only chance we have to get together.

I regularly have a kitchen full of people, willing guinea pigs when I'm testing recipes. Then there are those perfect sunny days that pop up in the midst of a week of rainy weather when a party just sort of evolves in someone's courtyard or in our olive grove...

Speaking of which, our olives are just about ready for picking - an excuse for some festive retsina quaffing in the winter sunshine :D

Here is winter sunshine too today, but we need parcacoats and boots.I should go picking the last apples, but I think I will leave them for the birds. Instead I will stay inside baking a cake for the afternoon tea. Cosy at the fireplace with a good book this time of the year.I ought to do my greek verbs for tommorrows lesson, but I think they will still be there when I have finished my tea

Hadn't realised it had been so long since I had had a wee look at the Chat Page. Bit late to answer your posting on 10th November, Benedetti, but yes there is a pub in Paisley called Paddy Malarkies :geek:
