Another splendid day on Symi - new lambs munching in the fields, sun shining on the meadows, birds twittering in the trees etc etc. Usually this balmy weather is our reward for at least a month of gales and floods but maybe those are coming later. ;)

Speaking of which, I see you are underwater in the UK again...

Never mind - it'll be carnival in a few weeks, followed by Easter (exeunt currently munching lambs) and we'll be whinging about the heat before we know it! :P

Nothing wrong with munching a few lambs. One of my favourite occupations.

I remember the last Easter I spent in Symi. On Easter Saturday my girlfriend cooed at the sight of children hand feeding a cuddly lamb on the waste ground opposite. :D Fortunately she was in the shower that evening when the man of the house gently gathered it up in his arms and carried it to a discreet corner.... On Easter Sunday she couldn't come to grips with the same children lovingly basting the same lamb with olive oil and rosemary as it gently turned on the spit :o Didn't stop her munching on lamb at Michaelis Meltemi's Paschal dinner though...
