New pavement Yialos to Chorio

I've just seen the pictures of the new pavement that is being laid by the side of the Yialos to Chorio mainroad.
It certainly looks very smart, but i would question the wisdom of the decision "to grout the gaps between the paving stones with soil" for drainage.
Come next May some poor soul will be pushing a lawnmower up and down it.
Fine gravel would provide the drainage required and i suspect even that would be a trial to keep weed free.

Well Glen, a lawnmover is absolutly not necessary on Symi. In the spring there will be the most beautiful flowers and as soon as the sun starts burning everything will disappear of it self, so the decision is not that bad at all.And when the autumn rain comes it just start all over again

Arrived yeterday, but I am banned from reading it until Vanessa has finnished with it, she is working on the Isle of Man for the next 2 weeks so I will have to wait. I like life too much to risk opening the packing and looking for the picture.

Past experience warns me to be careful. I like harmony and I may not recover by the time we come to Symi.
