Yes Mazie me too,there was an apartment in Pedi a while back i think it was about 60 or 80,000,i love Pedi but its a bit too quiet at night.

The prices are rising for no real reason, in some cases, as some property hadn't sold at the original price, but then an extra 50K euros is added. :?:

Today the rest of us are laughing too...at the ridiculous prices.

I know Kon would agree, you would be well on your way to a very, very nice home here in Oz for what they are asking on Symi. Right, Kon?

There was a picture of it Geoff on the beach just past Julies.Well i thought it was cheap, but it looked ok from the outside,They did'nt show inside .Anyway its too far to walk home every night if the taxis decide to have an early night,and also i havent the money to buy property just at present hee hee.I may like OZ that much when i come,i may just stay :P :P :P Its so hot here i'm melting :( :( :( :( :(

Price comparisons for property are always interesting

Here in Edmonton, a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo of about 920 sq. ft located downtown, is worth about $325,000 = stg 150,000. About $50,000 less in the suburbs. A 3 bedroom house of 1100 sq ft (with basement of the same size, is about $500,000 stg. 225,000. Population is 1 million. We boast a symphony orchestra, an opera company, three and a half hour drive to Jasper National Park (Marmot basin skiing)and an international airport. :geek:
