Just put up some new pictures on my diary page for those of you who are tired of grey skies and knee deep water.

Thanks Adriana. As I'm typing this, the skies are grey and it's just started to rain (again)

It's now official, the MET office have announced the wettest May. June and July in the UK since records began in the 17 hundreds. Do we realy need them to tell us what we all know. Still it justifies the existance of another government department.

We have been quite lucky here in sunny Colchester. Bad weather usually affects the Garden Cafe as we tend to be al fresco but the wet weather has been late afternoon and evening so I can still afford to come to Symi in September. Mind you wee Jimmy pays for the holiday and I take care of the extras.

Looks like we are one of the few parts of Greece (she said, touching wood) that has not been affected by wildfires. And the reports from the rest of the Balkans aren't too good either. No wonder it is so hazy. :(

Looks like it's going to be a bad year for insurance underwriters. :o

If they are Lloyds underwriters, I don't think I will be losing too much sleep. You don't hear them complaining when they are making millions!

Where is your diary page, Adriana? I may as well add to the misery of living through this English summer by looking at pics of you lot broiling.

It is under Latest News on the home page.

And blogger.com is playing up again. Drat

Which is a pity as I have a lovely shot of Armani's yacht outside the police station with the regatta raft up below the balcony. :?

Adriana - just nip over to the Armani yacht and tell them that they weren't supposed to deliver the suits until late September! (sigh) you just can't get the staff these days!

Phew. Finally got it to 'publish'. :D

And Armani has just returned from his round the island cruise. :) Wonder if they'll be doing dinner at Manos' again tonight...
