Which bar is the Sunrise? We stayed in Chorio in June for nearly a month and got just about every place. Can someone describe the location?

Well I'm useless at giving directions but if you're staying at the Anastasia you have to pass it every night on the way home :) .

If you stand with your back to the Windmill and go slightly forward as though you're going down the hill towards Pedi there is a turning on your left and the Sunrise is about 50 yards? along there. There is usually a board on the road in front of where you turn off. I think that's right but hopefully somebody with better navigation skills than me will be able to confirm it

Thank you. I stay in a house just past the Museum, but eat often at the Windmill, so will be sure to find the Sunrise next year.

Yes I remember my first visit to the Sunrise one lunch time. I was passing and decided to order a tuna sandwich and sat outside eating it which made me very popular with some of the residents :D . In no time at all I had one cat sat on my knee and two others hovering close by. Not a problem as I like cats and they are very friendly :) . The same goes for Kev and Claudia who made me very welcome. I was going to add a picture but didn't know how to  . I went to insert image but nothing happened :?:

I must come with a warning!

Be careful with Metaxa and/ or Kev's Frapp Baileys!

They do look ok, but have some very funny side effects! :D

I've always thought it was the wonderful Symi air that made me sleep so well when I'm there but the last few posts have sown a seed of doubt, I wonder if it could be anything to do with the "nightcaps" I have in Sunrise on my way back to Anastasia's every night????
