:geek: I will add my best wishes to you all for 2010. I have much to thanks this forum for. My daughter returned from her holiday in Symi a new girl - has taken control of her life - lost weight and is about to embark on a new career. I put it down to the wonderful time we had on Symi - at some point the gods must have touched her. We hope to haste ye back in the not too distant future. We will tak' a cup o' kindness yet for aul lang syne. :geek: :geek: :geek:
Kon - looking forward to news of your expected arrival and to more news on Kojak's socks. :) :)

Belated Happy New Year wishes. May it be a happy, healthy and prosperous 2010 for you all.

Here's hoping it will be a warmer New Year soon. Had a lot of snow on Monday night and Findlay didn't make it to work yesterday, but unfortunately I did :( . Beautiful to look at, but I just want to feel warm!!

Happy New Year 2010

It's very cold up here in the North West of England too. I should now be in the warmer clims of Portugal for a short break to celebrate a friend's birthday..... HOWEVER....after a long wait at John Lennon airport yesterday Easyjet cancelled our flight :? . It wasn't worth going back today as we were coming back on Sunday and there were people there who'd waited since Tuesday for flights - the word was that Easyjet had run out of de-icer!!! Other flights were taking off so there may be some truth in the rumour.Oh well, looking on the bright side I've had a day off work.

Colette - b****y hard lines. I don't blame you for trying to escape the climate here. Apparently Easyjet had plenty of planes and crew - they were just in the wrong places! Never mind - just think - June will be here before you know it and then you can swan off to Symi as often as you like!

Hope you're feeling much better, Ange. I had a chest infection in December that took weeks to clear up so I know how miserable it can be.
