sleeping out

Postby mr wotsin » 11 Apr 2011, 20:52

Just back from a long week end in Paris. Had not been for years, lovely to see all the sights again. I think it must be more multi-cultural than London. But a disturbing number of people sleeping rough, in the open street around a lamppost or up against subway railings, they were everywhere. A wee bit upsetting.
Overall the trip was fantastic Paris by Eurostar with a guide, and Newcastle to London added on with Riviera travel, good firm.

Mr Wotsin are you sure they were people sleeping rough or were they palm trees. (other readers please see blog on 'webcam' for explanation.)

The palm tree was funny but to connect it with rough sleeping does not bring a chuckle. Your elastic must be longer than mine.

How about the chap who says he is coming to Symi for his first visit and you tell him to go to Turkey.
