Good morning anyone whose awake at this unearthly hour. Just been looking at beautiful Symi on the webcam, seeing as I've been awake since 3 am . 8-)

Lorks Joannie - i thought to be up and at 'em at 6 was going it! It must have been pitch black and windy at 3 so good for the soul to look at sunny Symi

Good Morning all! I also woke early today so sat outside with my coffee to watch another beautiful Symi sunrise ... sorry!! As you say, it's another glorious day, weather now perfect IMHO.

Grrr Peter and Sue. Never mind, I'll be there to see it all myself next week - if the house hasn't been blown away by Katjia. I've managed to didge the instant and heavy showers so far but the wind is still very strong. More like November than September!

Like the middle of winter here in Ayrshire. Blowing a gale, bucketing with rain and cold cold cold. Wonderful to hear that Symi is bathed in sunshine. Could do with a heat, although might be a bit too hot for me. Not complaining though

Mille, we've got a long-term rental on a villa in Chorio with a huge terrace, giving us wonderful views of Yialos, up to the windmills and part of the village. We're very lucky indeed! Actually been here since early April but trying to be discreet and not gloat too much, however, sometimes I fail miserably!
