flooding

To anyone out there who is suffering flooding or imminent threat - i know what you are going through. Here in the n.e. of Scotland we are - so far - getting off lightly but the footage of what is happening in the south and west gives me the heebie jeebies - brings my own experience of two floods right back. Every time there is an alert from SEPA - the town here becomes besieged with flood gates and sand bags round properties and no-one moving from their homes. Roll on spring. Hate to wish my life away but i bet all of us would like to see an end to this horrible period of weather.
