Cheap ouzo!

Lidl's occasional Greek food promotion starts today. Sadly they aren't selling the 500ml bottles of retsina this time but they have knocked a couple of quid off the price of the ouzo. ;)

Thanks for the warning, Allan. Just got back from the nearest Lidl. They did have the 500ml retsina, but they don't have any now!

They had retsina? :o That's not fair - no mention of retsina in the promotional email. I'm going to go and check our local Lidl tomorrow, just in case.

It seems to be Italian week in all of them. The Greek promotion is a bit of a sideshow by comparison, but was running at the same time.

I owe you a Mythos Andy!

You were right, despite what it said in the email our local Lidl did have the 500ml bottles of retsina for sale. And like you, I emptied the shelf :D
