FOR ADRIANA - THE POWER OF THE SEA

Adriana - you've written lots recently about bad weather and rough seas. How about this for the power of the waves. This happened early this week in a little fishing village Mousehole in Cornwall, our favourite part of the UK. It doesn't seem possible does it?

You can see it's a beautiful place. Something of an English version of Symi don't you think?

FOR ADRIANA - THE POWER OF THE SEA

Thanks, Trailer. Similar things happen in Rhodes in the winter storms. The worst is when people go out on the end of the mole of the commercial harbour in their cars to watch the waves breaking - I know of at least two instances when they've been washed in, cars and all, and drowned.

Mousehole is certainly a pretty place. About 15 years ago I was taken on a 'grand tour' of all those little Cornish seaside villages and have distinct recollections of cream teas and lots of fudge!
