I'm off to Bali Sunday morning.
meeting up with my mates from Frankfurt and my friend, Marianne who I met on Symi in 1986 is coming from Sweden.
Should be a beaut 10 days... :geek:

Crikey! You do get around, don't you? Have you stayed at home for more than a week this year? When's the next trip to Symi, if you can squeeze it in?

I'm baaack, fantastic break, weather superb, company great and food delicious.
I'd love to go back to Symi but when you get an old dodderer like me the prospect of sitting in an aluminium tube for 18 hours to Athens and then hopping on another flight to Rhodes and then hangng around for the Symi boat fills me with dread.

Maybe if I won lotto I could fly 1st class to Athens and then hire a helicopter direct to Symi.
