Besides the reference to your Symi socks - you couldn't ( as we men of a certain age can attest) use the excuse of "washing your hair".
That would only take ten minutes on the "half load, fast spin" cycle ! It wouldn't even need ironing if you went for the rugged look ! :D

Wots the old saying.."Where there's hair, there's fun?
Me and me bloody twin are missing out on a truck-load of fun. ;)
Still, we have fond memories, eh Norman. :geek:
But thats not much good for us on these long, lonely nights, is it?
Maybe a stroll down to the High Street, eh? We may meet a Mrs. Slocumb look-a-like.

Now that looks like a partnership made in "Hell"! :D

Looking at the state of himself, there's no way Mrs. Slocombe would say a word about her ***** - it would be like showing Schumaker the green light ! :geek:

Just noticed the auto-censor stars ...... obviously, for those of us who watched the series - and there are lots of people who did, but pretended otherwise in case their fellow Guardianistas found out - I meant *****-cat ( must be American controlled - I have two pussies, one treats me with contempt and the other treats me with contempt also ! )

Don't fret Dave, Annie and Lottie treat me with utter contempt!
Not a purr, not a leg rub..no love, no affection, no nothing.
To rub salt into my wounds, they love my neighbour, the mad Professor of philosophy.
Maybe ******* just don't like old diggers, Dave.

A bloody professor of philosophy ? What's that then ? :?:

Nah, don't bother Geoff .... philosophy is just another abstract concept which only has one point - it makes for great graffitti on University toilet doors ! :D :geek:

KK while you have all this time in on a Saturday night, you can start to make arrangements for our Symi in the lakes, for early next year

Hmmm, looking at the prices, how about Symi in Barcelona (or Eire) if the price is right?

On the subject of cheap flights and accomodation, my friends from Essex who are migrating to Perth for good on Xmas eve are leaving today to visit Jac's sister in Malta.
Flights and accomodation in hotel of choice...64 quid each. :o
Less than 200 quid for the 3 of them for a week.
No wonder firms like Laskarina are winding up.
